2011 Assessments Now Available on
Our Web Site Online Database

The Kane County Supervisor of Assessments will publish all 2011 assessment changes in the Elgin Courier News on November 6, 2011. Change of assessment notices will be mailed by the Kane County Supervisor of Assessments the prior week. Additionally, all 2011 assessments are now available on our Online Database Property Search. You can also obtain information about a Rutland Township property by calling our office at (847) 428-5219.

Additionally, the November 6, 2011 date of publication of all assessment changes in the Elgin Courier News will also commence the annual 30-day assessment appeal filing period with the Kane County of Board of Review. 2011 complaints for property in Rutland Township will NOT be accepted after the filing period deadline. Please note that if you have any concerns about your assessment, our Township Assessor's Office should be your first contact - the Rutland Township Assessor and her staff will be happy to discuss your assessment with you, resolve any problems, and answer any questions that you might have.

Please also note that all 2011 assessments are still subject to final equalization by the Kane County Board of Review and the State of Illinois Department of Revenue.
